For this portfolio piece, I was trying to write music that would go with any mood. This piece is made up of three sections. The Time of Meter is 4/4. In section C, I decided to throw in a twist to the chord. My biggest influence to this piece is Jazz, R&B and Hip Hop music. 

In section A, I used C major key. For the melody, I used C major diatonic scale. For the rhythm, I chose to use Logics Kit. For the bass, I chose to use an electronic drum kit. I really like the deepness of the bass with this chord.

The Chord Progression is C| F| G| Am.While creating this melody, I decided to use ascending patterns.

In which, I played only the notes in the chord. For my harmony chord, I added a Reverb and a Time-based effect to my Live Vox recording .

In this piece I also included a vocal of myself speaking. I thought it would go well with the vibe of the song. In which it may be really hard to hear unless you listen very closely. However, I think most people would be drawn to the whole song with my vocal or not.

I also Included two synth tracks to my kick and snare. In this mix I chose to apply two Dynamic and two Time-based effects. I used EQ and Compression for my Dynamic effects in the harmony and vocal tracks. I picked these Dynamic effects to get a different sound from the chords. In relation to the Dynamic effects I selected, the chords have a different tone.
